TheContestBlogger dot COM has been down for at least half a month during July. The server never ever came online again after it last crashed. I have no means to contact the admins of the hosting company, it’s a lousy one and I don’t even want to mention its name here although I really feel like badmouthing it forever.

Curse you lousy hosting!

Luckily I have another hosting plan with another host, really feel like buying a few more plans, just in case but I hope the current one will be much more reliable. I tried restoring this site since a week ago, but there were many setbacks, I did not have the most recent backup of my files on the old server. Finally yesterday I managed to restore most of the old posts (some posts are probably not restored but I could not remember which).

However, the rebuilding process of this site is far from complete. Previously it was not that well organized. I will try to organize and tag the posts better and update the site more frequently. Posts about new contests will begin from tommorow onwards, I don’t want to miss out on any of the great prizes, so no more delay allowed. Rebuilding and improvement to the site is still ongoing, hope you people would bear with the incomplete site for the time being

Lastly, there is also cause for celebration despite the unfortunate downtime. In the recent Google Page Rank update, TheContestBlogger dot COM has been given a Page Rank 1. Although the maximum Page Rank is 10 and PR1 is definitely the on the lower end of the scale, this is a good start for this blog and hopefully there will be better achievements in the near future.

Hello everyone, welcome to TheContestBlogger dot Com. I am your host here, and you can call me TheContestBlogger.

TheContestBlogger is officially launched on 20th May 2008.

I have been planning this site for almost 1 month now. The launch is done pretty hastily, firstly because I do not wish to procrastinate any longer and secondly, the more I delay, the more you and I will miss out on some of the great prizes out there. If you wish to know more about me and this site, you can read more in the About page.

As you can probably see, this blog is not perfectly set up just yet. There are many things to add still, such as relevant links, good WordPress plugins, some widgets, etc. I will try my best to optimize this blog in the next few days.

Although this blog is not at its best, I have made the effort to ensure that it is at least fully functional. If you are interested to know about the latest contests and freebies available, please consider bookmarking this blog and come back in a few days time. I assure you there will be some good posts by then.
